Getting Started

Well, we're on our way. Sort of. I return to Duluth tonight, only to pack up, and turn around Saturday to head back down. So, out of the next 24-36 hours, I'll be spending about 12 of them on the road. Bleh.

On the Good News/Bad News front, we have found a place to live. It's a 3 bedroom duplex, with a one stall garage. Not bad. Bad News of this is that we can't move in until the 30th of September. That means about two weeks in the hotel. That's fine for me and Julie, but I'm not pleased about it when it comes to the kids. They are experiencing the most stress, and really will need something "normal" in their lives as they begin new schools. Hotel living is not normal. However, it's better than living in our van, so we've got that working for us.

In other GN/BN, I've got all the pieces I need so we can add video updates to this site. BN is because of our move-in time, we'll likely not be able to post any until we move into our new place. E-mail for Julie will also be non-existant until that move-in date, btw.

Of course, the Best News of all is that as a family, we'll all finally be back together, which is something that will be good for all of us.
