Housing Update

If there is anything we've learned since being down here is that Life continues to be interesting.

We had to switch hotels yesterday because our reservation had expired and we weren't able to really get back in to our original hotel for the stretch of time we needed to be there for.

So Julie gets to the new hotel, and immediately discovers mold in the room. She asks for a new room, and is given one, and soon finds mold in that room as well. Fed up at this point, she calls and demands a new room in the Holiday Inn across the street (the Days Inn we were at and the Holiday Inn are owned by the same company), and for the same rate. She is happily given one, and so then she moves across the street.

Then this morning, while blogging this actually, Julie calls me and says she has gotten a new room at the Holiday Inn, because the room we got there yesterday also has mold. So, the final count for moving in the last two days is four.

Tonight, Ian plays in the pep band at his first High School football game. We're all going - it should be quite fun.

I'm also going to check on the progress of our rental application today to see if we actually have a place to live in a couple of weeks.
