The Kids' Projects Part 2

Here are Blake's and Isabel's contributions to the blog today. Ian is workign up something special for Grandpa Hussey with his saxophone, so that will come later. At the bottom is some wonderful weekend fun where it shows Ian and Bailey being the best of friends.

Also, I've noticed still some funky behavior with the videos. It seems at times you cannot get audio. I have found that if you completely reload/refresh the page, that should fix the problem. There is still a problem the video seem to have with "Dub's Disease" where the audio is out of synch with the video. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

So, here's Blake's contribution. He is commenting while playing a game of Ping Pong with Bailey. The kids play Ping Pong often at the hotel.

And here's Isabel answering a few questions about school.

And here's the wonderful van fun we had after visiting George Wyth State Park.

Finally, this weekend we decided to catch a movie. I heard a commercial on the radio for a theatre in Sumner, Iowa. The place shows second run movies at $.99 per person, with realtively cheap concessions. So we go to the theatre and check it all out. The movie was 'Zoom' but the real treat was experience. It was a bit of an old school theatre, meaning no stadium seating. They played movie theme music before the start of the show, and they even had a "bargain bin" of candy that was near the expiration date (that was the candy we got - hey 2 pieces for $1). Plus, the town is very small and quite adorbale. Very "small-town-Iowa-ish."
