Down And Out

We've had some illnesses of late, both Julie and Isabel. Julie was out for a few days with a nasty sore throat and body aches. Isabel had a couple of infections that proved to be a bit too tough for the antibiotics that were prescribed.

So now she is on different ones. In fact, it's the horrible smelling, gag inducing pink stuff I used to have to take when I was a kid. Plus the strep we thought she had gotten over is still hanging around. So for those of you keeping score at home, she has strep, a yeast infection that turned into a bacterial infection

Since the picture of Isabel being sick is so sad, I thought we'd post a fun one after it, just so your spirits weren't down.

Katie,

Never will I forget to tell the kids to wash white like gloves. What? And make them less paranoid about something- not me!

We have moved to a city that is "hand sanitizer" obsessed. It is everywhere. At the kids' school the kids line up before lunch to all get some on their hands! Businesses, on people's desk's, everywhere you look down here people use the stuff.

Pretty much a match made in heaven for me...
