Spring Is Here

The weather is here, wish you were beautiful.

In all seriousness, it's been pretty nice, and looks to continue that way for the foreseeable future. With Spring comes soccer here in Iowa and Ian has signed up! Even more fun for him, his friend Zach - who has never played the sport in his life - has signed up.

This is a good thing because two days into practice, Ian is very tired and sore. We tease him that it's because his body is realizing that this is what it feels like to be active.

His first game is on the 19th, so we'll be sure to have pictures.

On other fronts, the kids are on Spring Break this week, which has made for some interesting work juggling schedules for me and Julie. It's goofy, but it works.

Finally, Ian had saved up enough of his allowance and bought a Wii. We'll save the whole tale of that adventure for this weekend, but suffice to say, the Wii is a huge hit.
