Adventures In Ackley

On Labor Day, we didn't have much planned, so we decided to take a road trip. Our journey took us to Ackley, Iowa.

It's a cute, little town, that almost is like a step back in time. After eating lunch in the city park, which had some very cool, and tall play equipment, we walked the Main Street. Sadly, most shops were closed, but there is some cool stuff that we'll definitely be going back for. We all liked the local grocery store, and found some interesting things, included beef jerky that included a free DVD about deer hunting.
